Die Bestimmer is a story about power and the right to say no. There are two groups in the school playground: One group are the determiners, the other group are those who are not allowed to join in. In the school playground, the ones who decide have the say about who can join in, what is played and where it is played. Whether it's the swings, the climbing frame, the playground or the soccer pitch: the determiners always set the tone until a child dares to say no...

Please note: The performances will take place at two different venues.

The school performances in the morning will take place at the Volxbühne, Adolfstraße 89a.

The family performances on 20 December 2025, 24 January 2026 and 14 February 2026 will take place in the foyer of the Theater an der Ruhr, Akazienallee 61.
