Barkeeper’s Secret

Bartenders sometimes let their guests tell them confidential things at the bar. And they themselves have a lot to hide: the recipes for their drinks, for example. Because even well-known classics often have differences and hidden details. One of these classics - and the unofficial signature drink of the Theater an der Ruhr - is undoubtedly the Negroni.

It is at the centre of the workshop, as are the stories surrounding it. Led by the team from the traditional Daktari cocktail bar in Essen, you will learn about the Negroni and its often lesser-known variations and how to prepare them yourself.
