On the eve of the election, magician and theatre maker Manuel Muerte presents a special kind of necromancy: in a political séance, he asks the spirits of the past and present about the issues of the future. Especially in times of crisis, when reason recedes further and further into the background, ghosts come to life. In a ghostly present, some ideas believed to be dead haunt us like the undead and have a frightening power. In his performance, Manuel Muerte explores ways to connect with the irrational and perhaps create a counter-magic. What drives the spirits of the present? What do they have to say? The ghosts communicate with those present, read their thoughts, venture a glimpse into the future and make tables dance.
