For the dance performance Everybody dance now #Mülheim, the Theater an der Ruhr is looking for people aged 18 and over from Mülheim an der Ruhr and the surrounding area who are enthusiastic about movement. 

 

Under the direction of choreographer and director Nir de Volff, a collaborative exploration of personal utopias, positive visions of the future and their physical expression will be developed together with professional dancers and actors. This will include dancing together, working with text and focusing on the connecting power of breath.  

 

No previous experience in dance or performance is necessary – just a willingness to participate in this special creative process with curiosity and openness, and a firm commitment for the following periods: 

- Final rehearsals 10-14 days before the premiere 

- Performances between 3 and 26 July 2026 

- 2-3 rehearsal dates in the first rehearsal week in mid-May 

- followed by 1-2 rehearsal dates per week until the final rehearsals 

 

An expense allowance of €600 will be paid for these periods.

 

We invite all interested parties to a casting and get-together on 17 and 18 January 2026 between 10:00 and 18:00.
