Deciphering body language

We like to speak "plainly", communicate "openly and transparently" and "don't mince our words". But what often remains hidden, or at least unreflected upon, is the part that our body's "silent" communication plays in our spoken message. Because posture, gaze, gestures, timing, tone of voice and our behavior in the room provide a lot of additional, often unconscious information about relationships, status and the feelings of the communication participants. In this workshop, we use playful means of theater work to try to find out the secret signals of our speaking bodies and to understand their effect on our communication with others.
