Etta Scollo & Eva Mattes cantano Pasolini

The poet and writer Pasolini has also appeared as an author of songs since the 1960s. We welcome two exceptional interpreters to a special concert: Eva Mattes, who sings in Io so: Pasolini. Messages to the Future, Eva Mattes lends her voice to Pasolini's songs, reciting and singing. At her side: the renowned musician Etta Scollo, the voice of Sicily.
Eva Mattes is one of the best-known actresses of her generation and has appeared in numerous stage productions and films. Io so: Pasolini. Messages to the Future is her second collaboration with Roberto Ciulli. The two are currently on stage together in Ciulli's production S wie Schädel.
The composer and singer Etta Scollo was born in Sicily and moves between the musical tradition of her homeland, avant-garde, jazz and chanson. She has released numerous albums. In her collaborations with actors, she repeatedly combines music with literature. Her most recent project Nirgendland is dedicated to the poet Mascha Kaléko.
