HackenPorsche
Audiovisual handcarts for urban interventions
Photo: RaumZeitPiraten
The HackenPorsche are modified shopping trolleys designed for urban interventions and audiovisual guerrilla performances. Three satellites emitting light and sound, with which public spaces can be taken over and transformed without the need for an external power supply. A mobile opto-acoustic instrument played by the RaumZeitPiraten as they lose themselves in the urban landscape. The term ‘public space’ sounds like an unfulfilled promise. Restrictive forces seem to be working against what could be a sphere of interaction and free communication for a community. We do not know what the public sphere and its spaces are good for, which is why we want to interact and learn.
