Open Air in Raffelbergpark

03.07.-26.07.26 03.07.-26.07.26

Since we began exploring the theme of UTOPIA about a year ago, the world hasn’t exactly become… more utopian. On the contrary, it would seem that wars and conflicts have increased, as have uncertainty, fears and prejudices – our view of the present, and even more so of the future, is perhaps as bleak and fraught with worry as it has been for a long time. And yet we do not want to stop working against a growing sense of hopelessness; we want to continue using the tools of theatre to create spaces for connection, exchange and encounter.

Even as our season draws to a close, we remain committed to the possibilities of a different kind of coexistence. We continue our search for situations and perspectives in which positive visions of reality can unfold. In this sense, shared experiences and a sense of community become the breeding ground for utopian perception, thought and feeling.

Now more than ever!
