Puppet Theater Class
For 6- to 8-year-olds
This theater class is all about the fascinating world of puppetry. Together, we’ll craft our own imaginative puppets and bring them to life on stage. The children can let their creativity run wild, develop their own ideas, and slip into different roles.
But how does a handmade puppet become a real stage character? The children will become puppeteers themselves and discover what it takes to breathe life into a puppet: the right voice, expressive movements, close attention, and good teamwork with others. We’ll explore how a puppet can walk, look, speak, laugh, or even be sad—and how it tells the audience its very own story.
Step by step, the children’s ideas will come together to form a collaborative play, which we’ll perform for the parents on the last day.
