Tidy!

A playful, musical production in which order and disorder collide.

What must stay, and what can go? Who does the chaos actually belong to—and who decides when a room is tidy?

The focus is on the small and large items that accumulate in children’s rooms: beloved stuffed animals, forgotten toys, overflowing closets, and all the things you absolutely don’t want to part with. Because tidying up is more than just a chore. It’s about memories, possessions, and the question of what matters.

The play explores the tension between order and chaos: Why can tidying up be good for you? Why is it so hard to let go of things? Does everything have to have its own designated place—or can clutter also be cozy? And what happens when we decide together what stays and what can go?

In collaboration with six Mülheim classes from the Grundschule am Dichterviertel, the Brüder Grimm Schule, and the Realschule Stadtmitte.
