Laboratories & Workshops
We offer you various labs and workshops in which you can playfully try yourself out on and behind the stage. While the workshops offer you the opportunity to get a taste of different areas of theater work, in the labs we work together to create a play that will be performed in front of an audience. The rehearsals of the labs take place at least once a week and include intensive rehearsal blocks. Participation is free of charge.
Lab II
Hamlet Machine
One text disintegrates. Another remains as an echo.
Shakespeare's Hamlet and Heiner Müller's Die Hamletmaschine overlap. History, the present and memory are set in motion. Characters dissolve, voices remain.
The young people from Labor II work with fragments. Sentences are shifted, repeated, broken. Language meets body, sound meets silence. Classical material and their own texts exist side by side, without hierarchy.
It is about standstill and possibility. About power, heritage and the passing on of history. About speaking and not speaking. Hamlet is not a character, but a state between thinking and acting.
Everything that emerges is part of a shared process. The play was developed and rehearsed independently by the young people from Labor II.

Labor I
Laboratory I has started a new production!
The group is working together to develop their own play – from the initial ideas to the finished scene. The focus is on topics that are currently important to the actors themselves, who are aged between 13 and 17: friendship, pressure, the future, identity, anger, hope. Everything that matters will be brought to the stage. We try things out, discuss, write, discard and start again.
More information will follow here.
